Activities in Moab
Moab is about biking, but it isn't "all about
biking." - This page will help you to decide
what you'll do when you are resting your bike-weary
legs!
The "off season" can be just as much fun
as the high season.
Many people don't know that it can be downright
cold here in the winter. That's ok - bring your
cross-country skis or snowshoes!
Deals can be found on lodging and restaurants year-round.

Here are some other
suggestons on what to do while in Moab:
Go Bowling! Moab has a funky little bowling alley
- Gravel Pit Lanes! They do server beer and wine-coolers,
and on Saturday Nights they have been known to play
disco and break out the disco ball! (435) 259-4748
See a movie. Slickrock Cinemas 3 - 580 Kane Creek
Boulevard (435)259-4441. Right behind Burger King,
this small theater is usually playing current shows.
Often times you'll see a colorful crowd here - river
runners just off of the river or bike groups falling
asleep after a long ride.

Dead
Horse Point - Round trip this drive will take
about 2 hours. However, the views are breathtaking
and the history of this State Park is quite interesting.
Have a Brew - There are a few good places in town
to get a locally brewed beer. The Moab
Brewery is a great pick.
Check out Old City Park - This beautiful park is
on the southern end of town. It is a little hard
to find, so you might want to ask for directions
from wherever you are staying. The park is beautiful,
and has a little duck pond with fish and turtles
in it. A very tranquil spot, and a great one for
a picinic, frisbee, or just "being."
Old City Park is southeast
of town in Spanish Valley, near the golf course.
A favorite site for weddings, Old City Park is 21
acres. It offers an elevated, covered stage in the
form of a large gazebo, a duck pond, covered shelter-house,
picnic tables and two large barbecue grills.
